Machine Operator
Job Context
The position is located at a company in the poultry sector.
Job Objective
Oversee and monitor production activities on a production line in the cutting, packaging, or labeling process.
Expected Results
Employee Guidance • Monitoring correct task execution
• Resolving problems that cannot be resolved by production staff
• Identifying deviations and resolving minor process disruptions
Operating • Acknowledging the order and selecting the production line's production program
• Starting up the production line after approval by the supervisor
• Checking the correct operation of the production line and CCPs (e.g., metal detection, sensors, etc.)
• Performing visual inspections of products or packaging (e.g., sealing packages) and eliminating products that do not meet requirements
• Recording technical problems in a logbook
Production Line Operation • Identifying deviations, resolving minor disruptions, or escalating to a supervisor Supervisor/Technical Services Manager
• Performing first-line maintenance work on the production line (e.g., replacing rubber seals, etc.)
• Assisting external technicians with specific maintenance tasks and malfunctions
• Resolving malfunctions in a timely manner
• Correctly performing maintenance


Here are the key details:
• Hourly rate: €15.09 + 12,5% to each hour worked. This turns out to be €16,98
• Overtime: The first 2h of overtime are 125% and the rest are 150%
• Shifts: Two-shift system
o Morning shift: 05:00 – 15:00
o Evening shift: 14:30 – 00:15
• Accommodation: Provided near the company location
o A driving license is a plus, but not required
• Important: The rule of the operator is not just to press buttons, but it is also a hands-on job. This is why technical experience is necessary.
